IRS POS System with Selangor SIDEC Matching Grant Worth RM5 Million

 

 

Good news for all the SMEs, our Selangor State government has officially launched the Selangor SME Digitalization Matching Grant initiative to help SMEs in the state transition into the digital era which under supervision by Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) . The grant worth total of RM5 Million which only limited to 1,000 SMEs only!

The Selangor government will offer a 50% matching grant or a maximum of  RM5,000 to each SME to subscribe to chosen digital service provider, and our IRS Software is one from the official list.

For this new program, SMEs can utilize the grant to obtain services for five areas, including, HR payroll system, cloud accounting, point of sale system, e-commerce, digital marketing and payment gateway system, but what the term and conditions? Let’s us show you:-

 

Eligibility criteria for Selangor SIDEC Matching Grant:

 

  • Registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia
  • Business address or operation address registered in Selangor only
  • Required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM300,000 and not exceeding RM1 million
  • Must be at least 51% owned by Malaysians
  • In operation for at least 1 year
  • Limited to one (1) application per company only. However, SMEs are allowed to apply to up to three (3) digital services with one (1) or more service providers that are endorsed by Sidec

 

Process Flow

 

  1. Applications open for SMEs
  2. SMEs will receive notification of approval via email
  3. training modules and digitalization systems to be properly implemented within 1 month
  4. Proof of Payment – DSPs must provide proof of activation and report to SIDEC
  5. Grant payment will be issued to DSP’s accounts

Note: If the DSP fails to implement the digital system within the time period, the grant payment will be deferred.

Sdn Bhd Company

  • Copy of Mykad
  • Copy of business registration licenses (CCM, Form A/B, Form 24 & 49 and M&A or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016)
  • Utilities bill
  • Audited financial statement for the last financial year or the latest management accounts
  • Company’s bank statement for the last two (2) months
  • Company’s profile
  • Quotation from authorized vendor listed by Sidec

 

Sole Proprietorship

  • Copy of MyKad
  • Copy of business registration licenses (CCM, Form 9 or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016A)
  • Utilities bill
  • Audited financial statement for the last financial year or the latest management account (if any)
  • Company’s bank statement for the last six (6) months
  • Company’s profile
  • Quotation from authorized vendor listed by Sidec

 

SMEs may start to apply at 15 April, 12pm as they officially announced on their website and the application closing date is 15 May 2021, so hurry up!
